Power To Choose - Best Electricity Rates
Please note that the Electric rates provided by Texas Electric Service – Power To Choose are solely intended for comparison purposes and may change without prior notice. These rates are considered final only upon completion of a service agreement with your selected electricity provider. Additionally, it’s important to understand that not all cities within our service areas offer electric choice, and pricing is determined based on each area’s rates.
The average price per kWh for each of our retail electric providers is displayed based on a monthly usage of either 1,000 kWh or 2,000 kWh, and includes both fixed and variable local charges. However, the price listed for each provider serves as an example based on average usage patterns and may not reflect your actual average price for electric service. Your actual price will depend on your specific electricity usage.
All Texas Electric Service, “Power to Choose” rates are gathered from the “Electricity Facts Label” of each retail electric provider. Please note that electricity service offers can be fixed or variable and that a variable rate may change throughout your contract. A fixed-rate, however, is guaranteed for the term of a contract. This site is in no way associated with PowerToChoose.org which is operated by the PUC of The State of Texas and has a limited and a different choice of companies, rates and plans.
